Webwriting
This assignment required me to create three different styles of webwriting: a blog, a website, and social media posts.
Blog
The blog was allowed to be written about anything related to the company and format it similar to a Buzzfed article. Because this project was assigned right before Thanksgiving, I wrote my blog on Thanksgiving-themed activities found on the American Girl website.
Website and Social Media Posts
For this assignment I created a homepage and four additional pages for a website specifically about American Girl's 30th anniversary. The scenario for the website stated that the anniversary year was coming to an end and I was required to highlight the main events from the year including the: 30th birthday celebration, the contest winners, the partnership with Children's Miracle Network (CMN), and the building of a pediatric play lounge in a CMN hospital. In addition, I created six Facebook and Twitter posts for the end of the anniversary year.
